During this strong and exciting program, your SNSI Trainer will prepare you to become a responsible and capable Freediving Instructor, able to convey your knowledge and manage any situation that you may encounter during your Instructor activities.

Together with your SNSI Trainer, you will develop the following topics:

  • SNSI Educational Philosophy,
  • SNSI Educational System,
  • SNSI Standards and Procedures;
  • Most efficient communication techniques,
  • How to teach in the classroom;
  • How to develop and conduct Briefings and Debriefings;
  • How to teach in confined water, skills demonstrations;
  • How to teach in open waters, organization and supervision;
  • How to complete and maintain training records;
  • How to teach the SNSI Divemaster course;
  • The SNSI Instructor and the Recreational Freediving industry;
  • Marketing and selling techniques;
  • Selling Continued Education.

To enroll in the SNSI Freediver Instructor Course you should:

  • be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • have been certified as a Freediver for at least one year.
  • be certified as SNSI Advanced Freediver or equivalent by a recognized agency.
  • competently perform the following:
    • Constant weight descent (CWT): -66 ft / 20 m.
    • Dynamic apnea without fins (DNF): 27 yds / 25 m.
    •  Dynamic apnea with fins (DNF): 38 yds / 35 m.
    • Static apnea (STA): 120 seconds.

Advanced Freediver Instructor

By the end of the SNSI Freediving Instructor Preparatory Course and the Instructor Evaluation, you will have acquired the necessary knowledge to teach SNSI Advanced Freediver courses. But before you participate in the SNSI Advanced Freediver Instructor course you must have issued at least 6 SNSI Freediver certifications. During this course, in addition to reviewing the execution of the pool skills and open water exercises of the SNSI Advanced Freediver course and the rescue skills, you must also demonstrate to have the physical capacity required to teach this course.

To enroll in the SNSI Advanced Freediver Instructor Course you should:

  • be certified as an SNSI Freediver Instructor.
  • have issued at least 6 SNSI Freediver certifications,
  • competently perform the following:
    • Constant weight descent (CWT): -66 ft / 30 m.
    • Dynamic apnea without fins (DNF): 38 yds / 35 m.
    • Dynamic apnea with fins (DNF): 55 yds / 50 m.
    • Static apnea (STA): 150 seconds.

Deep Freediver Instructor

Course overview:

During the SNSI Deep Freediver Instructor program, you will learn how teach your students relaxing and concentrations techniques to your students, through autogenic training paths and muscular stretching.

In addition, your SNSI Trainer will teach you how manage your students during pool and open water sessions of the SNSI Deep Freediver course.

To enroll in the SNSI Deep Freediver Instructor Course you must:

  • be certified as an SNSI Advanced Freediver Instructor.
  • Competently demonstrate the following:
    • Constant weight descent (CWT): – 132 ft / 40m.
    • Dynamic apnea without fins (DNF): 55 yds / 50m.
    • Dynamic apnea with fins (DNF): 82 / 75 m.
    • Static apnea (STA): 180 seconds.

Master Freediver Instructor

Course overview:

During the SNSI Master Freediving Course, you will discuss the muscular physiology and the training methods with your SNSI Trainer. You will learn how teach the SNSI Master Freediver program and to prepare the training, how to advise your students on the correct food and life style needed to become good Freedivers.

In addition, your SNSI Trainer will teach you how conduct deep diving session and how to correctly respond to emergency situations.

To enroll in the SNSI Master Freediver Course you must:

  • be certified as an SNSI Deep Freediver Instructor.
  • have issue at least 24 SNSI Freediving certifications.
  • Competently demonstrate the following:
    • Constant weight descent (CWT): – 148 ft / 45 m.
    • Dynamic apnea without fins (DNF): 55 yds / 50 m.
    •  Dynamic apnea with fins (DNF): 82 yds / 75 m.
    • Static apnea (STA): 210 seconds.
