Hovering Diver.

Gliding in a horizontal position with no resistance through the water, floating weightlessly while reducing air consumption and gaining bottom times and being able to perfectly control your position without disturbing the precious sea bottoms or ascending to the surface is fabulous.
To have good buoyancy is key to a fun and safe dive: by learning and practicing the exercises during the specialty SNSI Hovering Diver you will become automatically aware of your best position, while increasing your mental dexterity, tranquility and comfort like you have never experienced before.

The program: the course requires a minimum of 1 academic session and 2 open water dives, you will learn all that is required to become a certified SNSI Hovering Diver.

Pre-requisites: be 15 years of age and be certified as an  SNSI Open Water Diver or posses an equivalent certification issued by a recognized training agency.

Continuing Education: you can continue your training to become an Advanced Diver, taking additional specialties to qualify as an SNSI Advanced Open Water Diver ; with the improvement of your knowledge about Nitrox and being able to dive with maximum comfort while breathing Oxygen Enriched Air with the SNSI Recreational Nitrox Diver course; you can apply underwater the techniques you learned during the BLS First Aid trough the SNSI Rescue Diver and you’ll become a real competent diver; you can continue your training learning how to plan a recreational decompression dive with the SNSI Recreational Deco Diver course; with the SNSI Underwater Photography course you will learn how to use an underwater digital camera to capture images and share your experiences with your friends and family.

The Basics for Becoming a Good Diver.

Dry Suit Diver.

With a dry suit you can dive year round, visit sites that you thought not possible because of the cold waters, and extend your bottom time and enjoy your usual dives with a much higher level of comfort.
No matter your level, with the SNSI Dry Suit Diver specialty, you will easily learn the use of a Dry Suit: after training dives, water temperature will no longer be “a factor to worry about”, but an integral part of your diving equipment.

The program: the course requires a minimum of 1 academic session and 2 open water dives, you willl learn what is needed to become a certified SNSI Dry Suit Diver.

Requirements: you must be 15 years of age and be certified as an SNSI Open Water Diver or posses an equivalent certification issued by a recognized training agency.

The program: the course requires a minimum of 2 academic sessions and 2 open water dives, you  will learn everything needed to become a certified SNSI Recreational Nitrox Diver.

Requirements: must be a minimum of 16 years of age and be certified as an SNSI Open Water Diver or posses an equivalent certification issued by a recognized training agency.

Continuing Education: you can continue your training and become an Advanced Diver, by taking additional specialties to become certified as an SNSI Advanced Open Water Diver; the certification of  SNSI BLS First Aid will count towards the SNSI Rescue Diver course and you will become a self confident diver; you can also enhance your training by learning how to plan and carry out recreational decompression dives with the SNSI Recreational Deco Diver course; with the SNSI Underwater Photography course you will learn how to use an underwater digital camera and capture images to share with your  friends and family.

Breathing Nitrox Enriched Air is Good for you.

Navigation Diver.

The same as a yachtsmen, divers also realize the importance of being aware of their own position at all times. An SNSI Navigation Diver is trained to note reference points and natural markings and be able to return to the point of entry for the dive, additionally he can also rely on the proper use of his compass, a very useful tool to navigate underwater and maintain a route to and between interesting dive sites.

The program: the course requires a minimum of 1 academic session and 2 open water dives, you will learn everything you will need to become a certified SNSI Navigation Diver.

Night and Limited Visibility Diver.

A common goal of most advanced divers is to dive in different environments and conditions:
When we dive at night we can observe creatures that hide during daylight hours and view forms of life of unthinkable colors, or practice other activities in waters with limited visibilities, such as lakes. The SNSI Night Diver masters the navigation and communication techniques to be able to dive at night or in limited visibility. Divers learn early on that a prevalent factor that influences their diving are the sea conditions, currents, waves and bottom terrain. The SNSI Boat & Drift Diver course teaches you how to analyze and plan accordingly to these frequent diving situations.

Divers are frequently attracted to greater depths, it may be to challenge yourself, hone your skills or to simply observe a particular dive site. With the knowledge imparted in the manuals and the in water practices you will soon dominate the equipment configuration and planning required to carry out these dives.
